• Device type, operating system, and app version
• Usage data and interactions with the Platform
• Location data when you use the map feature (with your permission)
• Push notification tokens to deliver reservation updates

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account
• To facilitate dock reservations between boaters and businesses
• To send reservation confirmations, updates, and notifications via email and push notification
• To process payments through Stripe

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

• With waterfront businesses: When you make a reservation, your name, boat details, party size, and contact information are shared with the business to facilitate your booking.
• With boaters: When a boater makes a reservation, their information is shared with the relevant business.
• With service providers: We use Stripe for payments, Supabase for data storage, Resend for email delivery, and Expo for push notifications. These providers process data on our behalf.
• For legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

4. Reservations & Third-Party Transactions

DockDineFuel provides a technology platform to connect boaters with waterfront businesses. We are not responsible for:

• The accuracy, safety, or condition of any dock, slip, or waterfront facility
• Any disputes between boaters and businesses regarding reservations
• Cancellations, no-shows, or changes made by either party
• Any injury, damage, or loss occurring at a waterfront facility
• The quality of food, service, or hospitality provided by any listed business
• Weather conditions, water depth, or navigational hazards

All agreements regarding reservations, payments for dock services, dining, or fuel are made directly between the boater and the waterfront business. DockDineFuel facilitates the connection but is not a party to these agreements.

5. Third-Party Links

Business listings on the Platform may contain links to third-party websites, social media pages, or external services. DockDineFuel is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of any third-party websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), row-level security on our database, and secure authentication. Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe and is never stored on our servers. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Reservation records are retained for a minimum of 2 years for business and legal purposes. You may request deletion of your account and personal data by emailing hello@dockdinefuel.com. Note that some information may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
